Matchi Matchi, IČ: 06093141, registered office: U Slovanská pojišťovna 863/5 , Prague, 140 00, registered in the commercial register kept at the Municipal Court in Prague, section B, file 27623 (hereinafter referred to as "Matchi Matchi"), as the administrator of personal data, hereby allows you, as the so-called data subjects, to inform you about the manner and scope of the processing of personal data from by Matchi Matchi, including the scope of your rights related to the processing of your personal data by Matchi Matchi.
1. What personal data does Matchi Matchi process about you?
Matchi Matchi processes in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation; hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation") and further in accordance with relevant national legislation in the field of personal data protection, personal data that Matchi Matchi you provide in connection with the purchase of goods or the use of services (e.g. as part of ordering goods in the e-shop, signing up for newsletters on Matchi Matchi.cz or when claiming goods via the call center). This is the following personal data:

E-mail address
Telephone number
Residence address or delivery address
Password in encrypted form
Profile information such as age and gender
Audio recording of the call to the call center
Matchi Matchi further processes the data it obtains about you when you purchase goods or when you use its services. These are the following data:

Data relating to the purchases made (i.e. e.g. type, price of goods, date of purchase, data on the status of the customer account)
Or another online identifier
Matchi Matchi processes this personal data only in accordance with the purposes listed below and to the extent and for the time necessary to fulfill these stated purposes.
2. For what purposes and on the basis of which legal titles does Matchi Matchi process your personal data?
Processing of personal data in connection with the purchase of goods in the e-shop
- The processing of personal data is necessary for the purpose of concluding a purchase contract and its subsequent implementation, delivery of the ordered goods, and also for the purpose of fulfilling legal tax obligations.
- When placing an order, Matchi Matchi collects and processes your personal data to the extent of – name, surname, address of residence or delivery address, telephone number, e-mail address. The communication of this personal data is a basic prerequisite for concluding or changing the purchase contract, while the provision of personal data serves primarily for your unique and unmistakable identification and also for contacting you for the purpose of delivering the ordered goods.
Processing of personal data in connection with the processing of suggestions, inquiries and complaints
- The legal title for the processing of personal data is the fulfillment of Matchi Matchi's contractual and legal obligations. In connection with the processing of complaints, Matchi Matchi also processes personal data for the purposes of its legitimate interests in the event of a possible dispute arising from a complaint.
- When handling complaints, Matchi Matchi collects and processes your personal data to the extent of – name, surname, address of residence or delivery address, telephone number, e-mail address, transaction history of orders, data on purchased goods, audio recording of a call to the call center.
Processing of personal data in connection with maintaining a customer account
- If you register as a user of Matchi Matchi.cz, Matchi Matchi processes your personal data for the purpose of maintaining a customer account. The legal title for the processing is the fulfillment of the contract, or negotiations for the purpose of concluding a purchase contract, delivery of ordered goods, related communications and also for the purpose of fulfilling legal tax obligations.
- In the case of maintaining a customer account, Matchi Matchi collects and processes personal data of the data subject to the extent – first and last name, e-mail address, telephone number, address of residence or delivery address, password in encrypted form, profile information such as age and gender, data related to the purchases made (i.e. e.g. type and price of goods, date of purchase, data on the status of the customer account).
Processing of personal data for sending newsletters (business communications)
- In the event that you register your e-mail address to receive newsletters, Matchi Matchi will process your personal data to the extent of – e-mail address, based on consent to the processing of personal data for the purpose of sending offer e-mails and other commercial communications via electronic means in accordance with Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services. Matchi Matchi will start processing your Personal Data only after you register your e-mail address to receive newsletters on Matchi Matchi.cz and then complete this registration by confirming your consent to the processing of personal data in the delivered e-mail message. If registration is not completed in the above manner, your e-mail address will be deleted without undue delay.
- In the case of existing customers, Matchi Matchi may process your personal data to the extent – name, surname, e-mail address for the above purpose based on the legal title of legitimate interest.
Processing customer data with consent for marketing and business purposes
- In the event that you give your consent to the processing of personal data for marketing and business purposes, Matchi Matchi will process your personal data to the extent of – name, surname, gender, age, e-mail address, IP address and location derived from it, data obtained from cookies and similar technologies, data related to purchases made, browser and device data and possibly other online identifiers, primarily for the purpose of creating a suitable offer of goods and services from Matchi Matchi or third parties and in in connection with contacting the customer, namely through all means of internet advertising and in the form of electronic communication used to send personalized offer e-mails, targeted advertising and other commercial communications through electronic means in accordance with Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, as amended.

- If you use the Matchi Matchi website, you agree to the collection of cookies that Matchi Matchi uses on its website for the purpose of improving the functioning of its website, evaluating its traffic and for the purpose of optimizing marketing activities, i.e. offering advertising for goods based on an evaluation of your interest in the goods.

Temporary cookies enable the storage of information when moving from one website to another and eliminate the need to repeatedly enter certain data. 3. How long do we process your personal data?
Matchi Matchi processes your personal data in the event of the purchase of goods in the e-shop for the duration of the contractual relationship, further for the period necessary to ensure mutual rights and obligations arising from the contract and further for a period of 2 years from the date of expiry of the warranty period for the goods for the purposes of the legitimate interests of Matchi Matchi (see above). In accordance with § 35 of Act No. 235/2004 Coll., on value added tax, as amended, issued tax documents are archived for a period of 10 years from their issuance. Due to the need to document a legal reason for issuing tax documents, orders are also archived for 10 years from the date the order was sent by the customer.
In the event that Matchi Matchi processes personal data on the basis of your consent to the processing of personal data for marketing and business purposes or to send business communications via electronic means in accordance with Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, as amended, personal data will be processed for a period of 5 years, or until you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, this does not affect the processing of your personal data carried out by Matchi Matchi for other purposes and on the basis of other legal titles, in accordance with this Information on the processing of personal data.
4. Who will have access to your personal data?
In addition to Matchi Matchi and its employees, personal data may also be processed by Matchi Matchi's partners to ensure the purposes described above. Matchi Matchi carefully selects external partners who can process your personal data and entrusts personal data only to those partners who provide sufficient guarantees of ensuring appropriate technical and organizational measures, so that accidental or illegal destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of transferred, stored or otherwise processed personal data cannot occur, or unauthorized access to them.
Entities that may have access to your personal data are or may be in the future:
persons who ensure the technical operation of a certain service for Matchi Matchi, or technology operators that Matchi Matchi uses for these services (typically programming or other supporting technical services, server services, sending e-mails, services related to the measurement of traffic to our sites and adapting their content to user preferences);
persons who arrange for Matchi Matchi to ship goods to customers;
persons who have placed elements on the Matchi Matchi website that enable the collection of personal data or the monitoring of the behavior of the users of these pages (usually, however, in a so-called pseudonymized form, i.e. without the possibility of obtaining direct identification data), i.e. in particular persons who use cookies to analyze the traffic on our websites, and operators of advertising systems in connection with targeted advertising carried out using data on purchases made and data obtained from cookie files (including remarketing).
Matchi Matchi is also obliged to transfer some of your personal data on the basis of valid legal regulations, e.g. to state administration authorities, courts or law enforcement authorities in connection with possible administrative, criminal and civil court proceedings.
5. What rights do you have in relation to the processing of personal data by Matchi Matchi?
As a data subject, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
The right to revoke your consent to the processing of personal data at any time (if the processing is based on consent, i.e. e.g. consent to the processing of personal data for marketing and business purposes; the processing of data from cookie files can be prevented by setting your web browser);
The right to access personal data (the right to request information as to whether the personal data concerning you is or is not Matchi Matchie, and if so, you have the right to obtain access to this personal data and to other information according to Article 15 of the Regulation);
The right to data portability (the right to receive personal data relating to you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to transfer this data to another controller; and the right to have personal data transferred directly from one controller to another controller, if technically feasible);
Right to rectification (the right to request that Matchi Matchi correct inaccurate personal data relating to you without undue delay);
The right to restrict processing (the right to request that Matchi Matchi restrict processing, e.g. if Matchi Matchi verifies the correctness of the data due to the exercise of the right to rectification; or if Matchi Matchi has processed personal data unlawfully, but you do not request their deletion);
The right to erasure (the right to demand that Matchi Matchi delete your personal data without undue delay, including if the personal data is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or you have withdrawn the consent on the basis of which Matchi Matchi's personal data was processed and there is no other legal title for the processing; or if Matchi Matchi has processed the personal data unlawfully);
The right to object (the right to demand that Matchi Matchi stops processing your personal data based on the legal title of legitimate interest);
The right to contact the Office for the Protection of Personal Data with your initiative.
